The Avicenna Center works to promote e-learning through training, development, and production to enhance academic standards and build the University of the Future, guided by several objectives:
First Vision: Providing e-learning opportunities for all.
Second Vision: Empowering faculty members through development, collaboration, and the reuse or modification of learning resources.
Third Vision: Optimal use of e-learning tools to contribute to solving university challenges and meeting its needs.

Mission
The Avicenna Center focuses on promoting the culture of e-learning and encouraging its use. It also aims to provide educational platforms for e-learning, train and develop university staff in optimal platform utilization, support traditional educational processes, and achieve optimal use of multimedia and electronic tools for delivering information and assignments to students. This includes assessing student performance through diverse and precise methods to enhance the educational process. The Avicenna units within university departments and those associated with our center are closely monitored to improve the efficiency of educational and pedagogical processes.
Objectives
1. The Avicenna E-Learning Center aims to enhance and develop the educational process at the university using strategies supported by modern technology, particularly computers and information technology. This involves striving to provide electronic educational materials that learners can review and learn from, either alongside traditional lessons as in blended learning, or through distance learning, at any time and place convenient for the learner.
2. Developing new capacities in the following areas:
– Modern educational methodologies and tools.
– Utilization of technology for educational purposes.
– Quality assurance.
– Identifying relevant legal aspects in developing electronic materials.
– Building capacities of teachers in the field of electronic content engineering.
– Training educators for e-learning purposes.
– Producing high-quality and reusable electronic materials online.
– Establishing the virtual Avicenna Library, which will house educational materials.
