Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Sami Hassan, Director of the Avicenna E-Learning Center, met with heads of Avicenna units from various university departments on Monday, November 4, 2024. The meeting addressed challenges faced by the units in promoting digital education within their respective departments and discussed proposed solutions to empower these units in enhancing the e-learning experience.
In-depth discussions explored strategies for improving unit performance and the quality of services provided to students and faculty. A commitment was made to develop future plans aimed at boosting the effectiveness of the units and their ability to meet technical and organizational challenges. Dr. Hassan emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration between Avicenna units and the main center to unify efforts and achieve shared objectives in supporting digital education.
Following the meeting, a workshop was held for unit heads to clarify their role in managing e-learning and strategies for successful blended learning. Dr. Sarmad Maki provided insights into the different types of education and tools associated with each. The workshop concluded with Dr. Namir Ahmed Fouad’s presentation on the importance of blended learning and the methods that will be employed to support its growth.
