The Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled “Data Analysis Using Artificial Intelligence” on Monday, December 22, 2024, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rasha Hussein Ali and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rehab Hussein Ali.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of data analysis and its significance in extracting valuable insights from raw data. It explained the various types of data, including quantitative data, which can be measured and counted, and qualitative data, which provides deeper insights into opinions and experiences.
The session explored modern tools and techniques for data analysis, such as data visualization using tools like Tableau and Power BI, programming with Python and R, and machine learning technologies like Scikit-learn and TensorFlow. Applications of data analysis in fields such as healthcare, finance, and education were also highlighted.
Key topics included data collection methods such as surveys, interviews, and observations, along with steps for cleaning and processing data to ensure accuracy. Exploratory data analysis techniques were discussed to identify patterns and relationships using statistical methods and visual representations.
