The Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled “Performance Evaluation,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Namir Ahmed Fouad, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The workshop aimed to enhance awareness of modern standards used in performance evaluation, emphasizing its role as an administrative tool to improve institutional efficiency.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research implemented the performance evaluation system in 2010, initially focusing only on faculty members with a simple design. Over time, it expanded to include administrative staff and became more advanced in methodology and details.
The workshop covered the latest requirements for performance evaluation, recently introduced, which emphasize providing documentation to support actual performance. The presenter stressed the importance of reviewing detailed guidelines provided in the performance evaluation files to ensure full compliance with approved standards.
