The Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled “Database Systems and Their Role in Task Management”, presented by Senior Programmer Noor Haikal Hussein on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

     The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of database systems in facilitating access to information, protecting data from loss, and accelerating the process of extracting and printing statistics with precision and efficiency.

     The session provided a detailed explanation of the functions of database systems, such as rapid information retrieval, generating various statistical reports, and safeguarding critical data. It also showcased examples of database systems used in institutions, including the Course Management System, Student Registration System, Correspondence Tracking System, Fifth Card System, Appointment Scheduling System, Certification System, and Inventory Management System.

     The workshop concluded by emphasizing the significance of utilizing database systems for organizing essential information, such as committee records, letters of appreciation, training courses and participation records, official delegations, Service Credit Award, and personal documents. Additionally, it focused on managing official university appointment documents, graduation certificates, and academic titles, all of which contribute to enhancing institutional efficiency.
