Ibn Sina E-Learning Center Organizes a Workshop on “Health Insurance” <\/span><\/p>\n

The Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled “Health Insurance” in cooperation with the Electronic Computer Center.<\/span> The workshop was delivered by Mr .Majid Qasim Noaman, with the attendance of Mr. Ali Abdul Hassan Kazar, Administrative Director of the Ibn Sina Center, and Ms.<\/span> Afrah Hassan Yass, Administrative Officer at the Electronic Computer Center, on Sunday, June 29, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The aim of the workshop was to enable government employees to gain a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the health insurance system designated for them. <\/span><\/p>\n

It focused on clarifying the basic concepts of health insurance and explaining employee rights under this system, such as medical coverage and various healthcare services, in addition to raising awareness about the duties and responsibilities that employees must fulfill to ensure continued access to these benefits. <\/span><\/p>\n

The overall objective of the workshop was to enhance health awareness among government employees and to ensure their full benefit from the health rights guaranteed to them and their families, thereby improving the quality of the work environment and maintaining employee health and safety. <\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop included a detailed explanation of the mechanism for deducting a portion of the employee’s salary for the purpose of health insurance. <\/span><\/p>\n

It clarified the percentage deducted monthly from the basic salary and the authority responsible for the deduction.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was explained to the attendees that this deduction is mandatory and falls under the approved system to ensure the provision of comprehensive healthcare to the employee and their eligible family members. <\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop emphasized that the deduction percentage is determined based on the regulations and policies in effect at the relevant government entity and is directly deducted from the salary each month.<\/span><\/p>\n

These funds are transferred to the Health Insurance Fund or the entity responsible for managing the health system. <\/span><\/p>\n

The importance of employees’ continuous updating of their personal information was also highlighted to ensure uninterrupted health coverage. <\/span><\/p>\n
