Ibn Sina E-Learning Center Organizes a Workshop on \u201cHuman Trafficking:<\/span><\/p>\n

Awareness, Prevention, and Responsibility\u201d The Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHuman Trafficking: Challenges, Prevention, and Social Responsibility,\u201d delivered by Senior Engineer Ali Saif Al-Din Ubaid and Assistant Translator Balqees Haqi Ismail, on Sunday, June 29, 2025. <\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the crime of human trafficking by introducing participants to its definition, the most common forms and manifestations, and the methods used by criminal networks to exploit victims. <\/span><\/p>\n

It also addressed the challenges that hinder efforts to combat trafficking and emphasized the importance of prevention through awareness and community collaboration, highlighting the responsibility of every individual and institution to report suspected cases. <\/span><\/p>\n

The session covered several key themes, including introducing participants to the concept of human trafficking, outlining its various forms, and reviewing the methods employed by criminal networks to exploit victims.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop also discussed the societal and institutional challenges faced in combating this crime, focusing on preventive and protective strategies, the role of awareness in limiting its spread, and the importance of social responsibility, encouraging individuals and institutions to actively contribute to fighting this issue. <\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop concluded by stressing the importance of joint individual and community efforts to combat human trafficking, emphasizing the need to raise awareness and cooperate with relevant authorities to report any suspected cases. <\/span><\/p>\n

Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns, and offer suggestions that could contribute to preventing this crime and enhancing the role of social responsibility in addressing it. <\/span><\/p>\n
