The event was held as part of the 2026 joint cooperation framework between the two centers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"5\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Workshop Objectives<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The workshop aimed to raise awareness regarding the critical role educational institutions play in confronting intellectual and behavioral extremism. Key objectives included:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"7\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Fostering Tolerance and Diversity:<\/b> Cultivating an educational environment grounded in tolerance, moderation, and respect for diversity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Intellectual Immunity:<\/b> Enhancing the intellectual and cultural resilience of students through critical thinking skills that enable them to discern constructive ideas from extremist ideology.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Community Engagement:<\/b> Emphasizing the partnership among families, educational bodies, and civil organizations to institutionalize a culture of dialogue and open-mindedness.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Core Themes<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The workshop addressed several key dimensions of extremism and prevention strategies:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Conceptual Overview:<\/b> Defining extremism, its various forms, and the social, economic, cultural, and media-related drivers behind its spread.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Institutional Responsibility:<\/b> Examining how academic institutions can curb extremism by enriching curricula and expanding extracurricular activities that instill civic duty and sense of belonging.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Best Practices:<\/b> Reviewing successful models and case studies in intellectual awareness and anti-extremism efforts within academic settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"11\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Conclusion and Recommendations<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The workshop concluded with a call for sustained educational programs targeting youth to nurture an informed generation capable of navigating modern intellectual challenges.
