In collaboration between the Women’s Affairs Coordinators of Avicenna Center for E-Learning and the Women’s Studies <\/span>Center<\/span>, Avicenna Center organized an awareness campaign today, October 31, 2024, to encourage early breast cancer screening. This initiative is part of a series of activities launched by the Women’s Affairs Division during October, the global Breast Cancer Awareness Month.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ali Matloub, Women\u2019s Affairs Liaison at Avicenna Center, and Dr. Saba Hussein, Women\u2019s Affairs Liaison at the Women’s Studies <\/span>Center<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>s, a team of female staff members distributed informative brochures to female students and employees. The campaign aimed to spread awareness about the importance of regular early screening to help prevent the risks associated with breast cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n
