\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled \u201cTeaching Computer Skills to Children\u201d<\/em> on Thursday, November 14, 2024, led by Ms. Intisar Hussein and Ms. Atoor Abbas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The workshop aimed to introduce children to basic computer components while providing an engaging, interactive learning experience to nurture their early technical skills and awareness of technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The session welcomed a group of children from the University of Baghdad\u2019s kindergarten, where they were warmly received and actively engaged in fun activities designed to simplify the concept of computers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The workshop began with an introduction to the primary components of a computer, such as the keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Each part was explained in an age-appropriate manner that sparked curiosity.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0It also featured educational games and activities to develop logical thinking and social interaction skills among the children.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0This initiative reflects the Center\u2019s commitment to fostering technological awareness from an early age, recognizing the importance of technology in shaping an educated, capable generation.<\/span><\/p>\n
