\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Avicenna E-Learning Center organized a workshop titled “Audiovisual Translation and Its Role in Enhancing Understanding in E-Learning” on Thursday, December 12, 2024, led by Asst. Inst. Hajer Basim Mohammed Ali.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of audiovisual translation in advancing the educational process and improving the e-learning experience, particularly in making educational content more accessible to students from diverse backgrounds.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The session covered the benefits of audiovisual translation, including aiding comprehension for students, supporting individuals with special needs (e.g., the hearing impaired), promoting global dissemination of educational content, and facilitating foreign language learning. It also explored ways to utilize translation in developing digital educational materials.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Ms. Hajer concluded the workshop by presenting key software tools used in audiovisual translation and their features.<\/span><\/div>\n
