Avicenna E-Learning Center Organizes a Workshop Entitled
“Water Between Sustainability and Depletion: Reality and Solutions”
As part of the Avicenna E-Learning Center’s sustainable development activities for the year 2025, the Center organized a workshop entitled
“Water Between Sustainability and Depletion: Reality and Solutions”,
presented by Asst.Lecturer Maryam Ali Matloub and Agr.
Engineer Ayat Ibrahim Mahmoud, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, held in person at the Computer Center Hall, within the framework of collaboration between the two centers for the year 2025.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of sustainable water resource management, identify the causes of water depletion, and explore its impact on the environment and society.
It included discussions on environmental challenges and modern technologies for water conservation, in addition to presenting practical solutions and effective policies to ensure sustainability.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations emphasizing the need to raise individual and institutional awareness on rational water use and to adopt innovative methods to preserve this vital resource.
