The Head of the Media and Government Communication Unit at Ibn Sina Center Participates in the European Film Festival Noor Haikal Hussein, Assistant Chief Programmer and Head of the Media and Government Communication Unit at the Ibn Sina E-Learning Center, participated alongside the heads of media and government communication units from various departments in the European Film Festival held at the University of Baghdad on Sunday, December 1, 2025, at Al-Shahid Al-Hakim Hall.
The festival featured screenings of a collection of short films that highlighted global environmental challenges such as climate change, pollution of natural resources, and biodiversity loss.
The aim was to raise community awareness about these critical issues and encourage reflection on sustainable solutions. In his opening remarks, the representative of the European Union emphasized that the festival seeks to use cinematic art as an impactful educational tool capable of delivering environmental messages in a way that inspires audiences and opens the door for discussions on possible responses to these challenges.
The festival concluded by achieving several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), Goal 13 (Climate Action), Goal 15 (Life on Land), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
