“Healthy Nutrition: A Way of Life.”
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Translator Balqees Haqi Ismail on Sunday, 11/1/2026, and was held in person at the Electronic Computing Center Hall, within the framework of cooperation between the two centers for the year 2025.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the importance of healthy nutrition and its essential role in building a healthy body, strengthening immunity, and preventing diseases.
It also sought to clarify the relationship between balanced nutrition and physical and mental health in both the short and long term.
The workshop focused on encouraging participants to change unhealthy eating habits and adopt a lifestyle based on sound nutritional choices.
The workshop included several key topics addressing the concept of healthy nutrition and the components of a balanced meal, with an explanation of the roles of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and vitamins.
It also highlighted common unhealthy dietary habits and their negative impact on health.
In addition, practical tips were provided on meal planning, reading nutrition labels, and choosing healthy alternatives in daily life.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing that healthy nutrition is not a temporary diet, but a permanent lifestyle that should be maintained.
Participants were encouraged to apply the health guidelines in their daily lives and share them within their families and communities.
An open discussion session was held to answer attendees’ questions, contributing to enhanced understanding and reinforcement of the presented concepts.
