The Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a workshop entitled
“Celebrating the National Day of the Holy Qur’an (corresponding to 27 Rajab)”.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Head Programmer Noor Haikal Hussein on Sunday, 21/1/2026, and was held in person at the Electronic Computing Center Hall, within the framework of cooperation between the two centers for the year 2025.
The workshop aimed to introduce the importance of the National Day of the Holy Qur’an and the reasons for its designation, highlight the great status of the Holy Qur’an in the lives of Muslims, deepen spiritual and intellectual connection with the Book of Allah, promote a culture of conscious reading and contemplation, and reinforce moral and behavioral values derived from Qur’anic teachings within society.
The workshop included an awareness lecture on the virtues of the Holy Qur’an and its role in refining the soul and building a righteous individual, blessed Qur’anic recitations that created a faith-filled atmosphere, a simplified explanation of the meanings of selected noble verses, and a discussion on the role of the Qur’an in reforming the individual and society, with emphasis on the importance of applying its rulings in daily life.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the necessity of regular recitation, memorization, and contemplation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, calling for it to be adopted as a way of life and practical conduct.
Participants were encouraged to share what they had learned with others, and thanks and appreciation were extended to the organizers and the esteemed attendees, wishing everyone continued success and prosperity.
