Avicenna Center for E-Learning Organizes a Training Course Entitled
“Women and Digital Marketing”
Within the activities of the Women’s Affairs Unit, the Avicenna Center for E-Learning, in cooperation with the Electronic Computing Center, the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, and the Market Research and Consumer Protection Center, organized a training course entitled

“Women and Digital Marketing.”
The course was delivered by:

Lecturer Alaa Aref Jaafar, Electronic Computing Center
Lecturer Maryam Ali Matloob, Avicenna Center for E-Learning
The course was held on Wednesday, 26/2/2025, in person at the hall of the Electronic Computing Center, within the framework of cooperation between the two centers for the year 2025.
The course aimed to empower women and enhance their active presence in the digital field, particularly in digital marketing, which is considered one of the fastest-growing fields in the modern era.

This was achieved by providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that enable them to confidently enter the digital labor market.

The course also sought to support the spirit of initiative among participants, encouraging them to establish their own online projects and contribute to achieving economic independence while developing their professional capabilities in line with rapid technological advancements.
The course included several topics, such as introducing the concept of digital marketing and its importance in the present time, explaining how to work on social media platforms, and how to prepare a successful marketing plan.

It also covered creating purposeful and engaging content that meets the needs of the target audience.

In addition, the course discussed paid advertising methods, strategies for building a personal brand, and the use of analytical tools to measure results and improve performance.

The course also included practical applications and real examples of successful women in the field of digital marketing, allowing participants to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
The course concluded with an open interactive session to answer participants’ questions and discuss the most important challenges women may face in the field of digital marketing.

Practical advice and guidance were provided to help overcome these challenges and achieve success and sustainability.

The importance of continuous learning and keeping up with technological updates was also emphasized.

At the end of the course, certificates of participation were distributed in appreciation of the attendees’ efforts and their commitment to developing their skills and strengthening their role in the digital community.
