Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning organized a specialized workshop titled “The Craft of Programming with Python,” presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Namir Ahmed Fouad, a faculty member at our center.
The event took place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, held in person at the Electronic Computer Center hall. This initiative is part of the 2026 cooperation framework between the two centers.
The workshop aimed to introduce the fundamentals of Python programming and highlight its significance across various technical fields. It focused on Python’s pivotal role in software development and data analysis, seeking to spread programming literacy and enhance digital culture among participants.
The session included a theoretical presentation of core programming concepts using Python, covering:

Language Syntax and Characteristics: An overview of Python’s structure and features.

Variables and Data Types: Explaining how data is stored and categorized.

Control Flow: Detailed insights into conditional statements, decision-making logic, and loops for organized command execution.

Practical Application: Demonstrating how to build simple programs and troubleshoot common errors (debugging).
The workshop concluded with an open discussion session, where Dr. Namir addressed participants’ inquiries. He emphasized the necessity of continuous skill development to keep pace with rapid global technological advancements.
