The Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a training course titled “Descriptive Statistics, Sampling, Regression, and Behavioral Science Methods” from December 1 to 5, 2024. The course was delivered by Ass.Ins. Ruaa Rafaat.
     The course aimed to familiarize participants with fundamental concepts of descriptive statistics and regression analysis, enhancing their ability to analyze behavioral data using advanced statistical techniques. Key topics covered included:
  • Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion: such as mean, median, mode, and standard deviation.
  • Data Collection and Organization Methods: with a focus on data preparation and cleaning.
  • Regression Analysis: as a tool for understanding relationships between variables and predicting future behaviors.
  • Practical Application of Specialized Software: utilizing statistical programs to simplify and comprehensively analyze data.
     The course featured interactive sessions that enabled participants to understand statistical theories and apply them effectively, enhancing their ability to explore data and draw scientific conclusions that support informed decision-making.
     The course concluded by emphasizing the importance of statistics as a powerful analytical tool in various fields. Participants were encouraged to continue developing their skills and leveraging statistical applications in their professional environments.
