Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning Organizes a Workshop on
“Artificial Intelligence in Language Learning”
The Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning organized a workshop entitled
“How to Utilize Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Learning”
, presented by Assistant Translator Balkis Haqi Ismail, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to ways of leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to develop foreign language learning skills using modern and effective methods. It also addressed the latest smart applications and tools that help learners enhance their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through an AI-supported interactive environment.
The workshop included a comprehensive explanation of the concept of artificial intelligence and its most prominent applications in the field of language learning, with a focus on modern methods that enable learners to benefit from these technologies effectively and easily.
Smart tools contributing to the development of various language skills were reviewed, in addition to presenting practical and interactive examples demonstrating how to apply AI in this area.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations emphasizing the importance of employing artificial intelligence to support foreign language learning, while stressing the need for responsible and conscious use of these technologies.
Participants were also encouraged to continue benefiting from smart tools to develop their language skills and to stay up to date with the latest developments in this field, contributing to effective and advanced learning.
