The Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled “Designing Gantt Charts for Project Management and Thesis Completion Using Mindview 0.9” on Monday, November 11, 2024. Led by Dr. Sarmad Maki, the workshop took place in the Center’s hall with in-person attendees and was also broadcast via Zoom to allow for virtual participation.
The workshop aimed to equip participants with essential skills for using time-management tools in project planning, particularly focusing on structuring tasks and effectively allocating time for thesis and dissertation completion. Dr. Maki highlighted the advantages of Mindview 0.9 for creating Gantt Charts, showcasing its advanced features for defining project milestones, organizing tasks, and efficiently allocating resources.
Participants learned about the software’s real-time modification capabilities and automatic task updates in response to project changes, which helps maintain workflow precision. Dr. Maki demonstrated how to use Mindview 0.9 to track progress, identify schedule deviations, and make informed adjustments—an invaluable tool for researchers striving to meet critical deadlines for academic work.
The session concluded with Dr. Maki thanking participants for their engagement, emphasizing the importance of continuous training in educational technology tools to strengthen research capabilities and enhance academic project management skills.
