Avicenna Center for E-Learning organized a workshop entitled
“The World of Artificial Intelligence.”
The workshop, titled “The World of Artificial Intelligence,” was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Numeir Ahmed Fouad on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
It was held in person at the Electronic Computer Center Hall within the framework of cooperation between the two centers for the year 2025.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of artificial intelligence and highlight its importance in our daily lives, as well as to shed light on its role in advancing the fields of education, healthcare, industry, and technology.
It also sought to raise participants’ awareness of how to benefit from artificial intelligence technologies in a positive and safe manner, and to develop their technical thinking skills in order to keep pace with rapid digital transformation.
The workshop included a simplified explanation of the meaning of artificial intelligence and how it works, along with practical real-life examples such as robots, smartphone applications, and voice and image recognition systems.
It also featured an interactive discussion on the advantages and challenges of artificial intelligence, and clarified its impact on the future of jobs and the labor market.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuous learning in the field of technology and encouraging attendees to develop their digital skills.
A Q&A session was opened to enhance understanding and reinforce key concepts, with a recommendation to stay updated on the latest developments in the world of artificial intelligence due to its increasing impact across various aspects of life.
