The  Avicenna Center for E-Learning at the University of Baghdad held a workshop titled “Using Generative AI for Faculty” on Monday, November 18, 2024, presented by Engineer Raed Hameed Rasheed.

     The workshop aimed to introduce faculty members to the concept of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and its mechanisms, emphasizing applications that can enhance teaching methods and educational content creation while saving time and effort.

     The session included an overview of generative AI types, where Engineer Raed Hameed Rasheed explained distinctions between text-based models like ChatGPT for generating and editing text, visual models for producing images and videos, and audio models for voice generation and simulation. He also highlighted how to choose the appropriate AI tool to meet diverse educational needs, enabling faculty members to effectively and creatively integrate this technology into their teaching practices.
