Ibn Sina Center Organizes Workshop on “Cybersecurity Challenges and Solutions for E-Learning”
The Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning organized a workshop titled
“Cybersecurity: Challenges and Solutions Facing E-Learning,”
presented by Assistant Head of Research, Mohammed Saad Mahmoud,
on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of cybersecurity
in e-learning environments, introduce the most prominent threats
that may impact the integrity of educational platforms, and propose
preventive solutions and strategies to ensure a safe and stable
learning environment.
The workshop included presentations on the latest cybersecurity practices,
in addition to practical discussions on data protection methods,
mechanisms for countering cyberattacks, and the role of educational institutions
in fostering a culture of security among students and academic staff.
The workshop addressed a range of challenges related to securing
the digital infrastructure of universities, the need to adopt
clear risk management policies, and the importance of continuous training
for technical and academic staff in this vital field.
It emphasized the importance of integration between academic
and technical entities to ensure a secure e-learning environment
that supports sustainable digital transformation in higher education institutions.
